Our Story

There are places that are born from a project. And others that are born from a family story
Our story begins in a restaurant of the Isola Azzurra in 1963 Capri. Between the scents of the garden and the catch of the day, Grandpa Eduardo welcomed travelers from all over the world. It was within that magical atmosphere defined by local produce and human warmth, that the first steps were taken toward a legacy that has endured for nearly seventy years.
Da Eduardo was born from the memory and legacy of Grandpa Eduardo, a central figure in Eduardo Tarantino’s childhood and a symbol of an authentic Italian way of life: one built on hospitality, simplicity, and respect for ingredients.

The Living Legacy
Raised in the family restaurant in Capri, Eduardo Jr. grew up viewing the kitchen not as a place of ostentation, but as a daily gesture of love, sharing, and wonder. Those aromas of ragù, lemon, and the sea, born on the Blue Island of the 1960s, have become a living memory for him, capable of transcending time.
Even today, the culinary philosophy follows the most important lesson he received from his grandfather:
“Fine dining is nothing more than the perfection of a simple dish”
Today, in the heart of Rome's Prati district, he carries this legacy forward. The dishes are a contemporary reimagining of the past, where excellence meets the warmth of tradition.
